The community empowerment program was conducted in Tikulia, Paterwa and Belhi VDCs of Saptari district from January 15, 2066 to the end of 2073 Ashadha with the support of the Poverty Alleviation Fund by Jan Chetna Dalit Sangam. The work was done based on the demand of the target community. The target community used to identify their needs and create and implement plans themselves. There are four main pillars under the poverty alleviation program. Social mobilization, capacity building, physical infrastructure and income generation programs have been conducted to support the livelihood of the target community. This poverty alleviation fund was operating in 40 districts of Nepal in accordance with the plan to reduce poverty by half by 2015 according to the ten-year plan of Nepal government.
45 community organizations, 3 agricultural cooperative organizations have been formed in the work area, and a total of 1116 families have benefited, including Dalits, 282 Janjati, 234 Muslims, 135 others, and 465 others. For 45 community organizations, the grant amount is Rs.12139474 community 10 percent contribution amount is Rs.1110125 and the total amount is Rs. 13,249,599 have been collected in the Revolbing fund and the funds of the Revolbing fund have been mobilized for income generation as per the demands of the members.
Program for Accountability in Nepal- PRAN-2 / Donnor Agency- Center for International Cooperation and Studies (CECI )
With the help of Center for International Cooperation and Studies, Jan Chetna Dalit Sang has organized local governance and accountability in 10 VDCs in Saptari district, including Madhupati, Daulatpur, Tikulia, Paterwa, Malhania, Mauwaha, Belhi, Ramnagar and Rauthat from August 5, 2015. The program was being conducted. Through this program, the participation of the target community and marginalized groups, to make the local government accountable for the creation and implementation of fair and poor-oriented budgets, to increase access to social security benefits and to improve access to basic education, and to improve the national enabling environment for transparent, inclusive and accountable public finance management for local bodies. 1. Community Scorecard (Educational Quality of Primary Schools and Dalit and Girl Student Enrollment)
2. Awareness about the budget by disclosing the simplification of the budget
3. Inclusive and pro-poor budget analysis of the budget

By conducting these activities, the target community was able to increase access to the local bodies, and the bodies were managed to maintain accountability, transparency and good governance.

With the aim of developing the capacity of Nepal's Ngos, with the financial support of Save the Children, the organization's sustainable change program was conducted from July 2005 to 2008. This program was conducted with the intention of enabling Ngos to provide quality services especially for education, health and income generation programs. Based on institutional analysis, good governance and leadership development training, financial management training, strategic planning and revision seminar, resource management training, operational management training were conducted to support the institutional development of the organization.
The main objective of the program is to improve the operational process of the health education income generation program conducted in women children and backward communities by enhancing the capacity of non-governmental organizations.

Working Areas- Madhupatti, Daulatpur, Hardiya, Haripur, Brahampur, Dharampur, Pato, Tarhi , Deuri VDCs in Saptari Distrits.
From 2002 to 2008, the Jan Chetna Dalit Sangam, in partnership with the community self reliance center, conducted a land rights campaign in the of Saptari district including Madhupati, Hardia, Daulatpur, Haripur, Brahampur, Dharampur, Pato, Tarhi and Deuri VDCs. Dalits are the majority and they have been struggling for social justice and equality. Even the land where Dalits lives, they are living in Ailaniparti, village block, and landlord's land, so the landless Dalits are not able to find any work independently. It is seen that Dalits act like fear, terror, uprising and blockade.
The land rights program has been implemented for poverty alleviation, landless, stray herdsmen's security and access to the main resources of production. Landless, Dalits, Herds and Herdsman families cannot be raised unless the state gives them land. According to the recognition, the following activities were conducted in the working area through the land rights campaign program.
